Churches
Anglican Parish of Lantz - This web site presented an unusual challenge as this was a "two-point" parish; two different churches, one in Lantz and one in Dutch Settlement. Each church has its own unique history and congregation so the web site reflects this.  We also created custom navigation buttons for the links the parish provided, including one to the official Church of England Web Site, "Ship of Fools", a very humorous site.  Visit Anglican Parish of Lantz...

Blessed Mother Teresa Parish - as the demographics of Nova Scotian parishes undergo drastic changes, so too do the individual parishes themselves.  As part of the "Forward in Faith" initiative, we see here an actual amalgamation of two long-established churches in historic north end Halifax.  St. Joseph's and St. Stephen's are both beautiful churches with their own individual and rich histories, and care was taken with the new site to try and reflect the unique features of both churches.  Especially noteworthy are  the lavish Christmas decorations and stained glass windows at St. Joseph's.  Visit Mother Teresa Parish...

St. Bernard's Parish is a professional & dignified site for a Catholic Church in Enfield.  Athena provided digital photos plus researched their patron Saint on the internet. A large site very full of information for parishioners and updated with weekly bulletin information, it also contains detailed information and links for groups such as The Catholic Womens League and the Knights of Columbus.  Athena acquired free hosting for this site which is available to other church clients.

St. Stephen's Parish - In a quiet north end neighbourhood in bustling Halifax is a pleasant surprise.  A handsome fieldstone church and large connected rectory, along with a memorial park & St. Stephen's Convent, forms the heart of a modern Catholic parish with traditional community values.  This site is hosted free and church staff perform the maintenance themselves.  The church is noted for its magnificent stained glass windows, and St. Stephen's web site includes many images of its beautiful features.

Crafters & Artists

dibari.ca - This is an interesting "dual" site; a simple "his 'n hers" entry page leads you to the individual pages for two very talented individuals!  Wife Angelika is an internationally recognized artist, as well as an accomplished knitter & businesses woman, while husband Lorenzo is a master Cabinet Maker and renovator specializing in bath & kitchen make-overs.  The site design jives together well, like the Di Bari's themselves, yet each page reflects their personal tastes and showcases individual and impressive talent.  See screen shot...

Jaki Durocher - a prolific artist with many volunteer activities, Jaki has built an impressive resume of awards,  exhibitions, and art related public service in her busy career.  Her choice of subjects range from still life to landscapes, with a special emphasis on emotive portraits of people and pets. For this site, Jaki wanted to concentrate on a 'sampler' of her various styles on the Home page, while details on the pieces and her background are available on the Info page.  Design-wise, Jaki wanted a clean site that would allow the visitor to focus on the art itself rather than it's setting.  View Jaki's work...
